Kota Belud is famous for these handicraft. Visit Sunday Tamu at Kota Belud, the cowboy town. It is called the cowboy town because the people rides on horses; colorful horses. The Bajau people rides on horses.Kota Belud is only about 1.30 hrs by car from Kota Kinabalu City. If you dont have anywhere else to go then visit Tamu Kota Belud on Sunday.
'Belud' means mountain in the local dialect.
